Spilt Milk Yoga approaches motherhood as a path offering life’s richest and most confronting lessons on love, acceptance and joy.

The work of Spilt Milk Yoga has three parts; connecting mothers to self, to others, and foregrounding the value and importance of the work that mothers do and how it contributes to our overall social health.

  1. Connecting mothers to self. This is the inner work you do with the book in hand, practices in mind, and self-inquiry in your toolkit, as you go about your mothering day.
  1. Connecting mothers to others. Spilt Milk Yoga workshops where mothers come together in a safe environment to engage, share and be guided through processes of reflection around the inner work of mothering. Participants can expect to come away feeling empowered, connected to others, and with fresh insight into the value of their lives as mothers.
  1. Valuing motherhood. Spilt Milk Yoga foregrounds the bigger conversation about the value of motherhood in our society, and the need to recognize mothers as the heart of our social health.
